Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing the power of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the value of your item's base level.

Each upgrade template comes with set of options that can be configured through the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the upgrading chance.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update, the system for upgrading armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been reworked. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you'd like to upgrade should also have an upgrade slot. If you select an item to upgrade the game will display an image of what the expected statistics will be after upgrading, as well as the required component or material needed. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item, the button will read "Blocked."

Weapons and armor can be upgraded as well as some trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on all of these items can be filled with different upgrades that give you bonus points or other effects while the equipment is being used. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, bought from a merchant or looted.

There are two kinds: universal upgrades and gemstones. Universal upgrades that are like gemstones, can be placed in any type of equipment and offer less of a benefit than other upgrade components. The process of obtaining them is quite simple and they are dropped by enemies or looted all over the world. Gems, on the other hand can be gained by disassembling items or completing certain missions.

Upgrades can be replaced by new upgrades inside a weapon's upgrade slot. However, doing so will damage the previous upgrade. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs which can be placed in gathering tools, are not able to be removed from an item upgrade once they are placed. Infusions that can be placed in ascended equipment or legendary equipment, as well as enrichments, which can only be removed with an upgrade extractor, or by salvaging the item with an advanced salvage kit can be replaced at least once every hour.

Recycled items

During the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world towards recycling. Recycling items like aluminum, plastic and paper is a common practice. They get a new lease on life. Recycling actually saves energy and keeps carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. It's also a great option to reduce the need for landfills and preserve natural resources. It is nevertheless important to know what can be recycled and what can't.

A common mistake that people make is putting the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items can not only cause harm to recycling equipment, but they can also end up in the stream. To avoid this, always check the label and follow the rules of your recycling program. Cardboard should never be mixed with tin cans or steel cans. Tissue must be disposed of. Plastic bags can also become stuck in recycling machines, and should be taken back to the store to be reused. Food containers and berry containers are also items that can be thrown away. Glass is the only exception, since glass can be used to build with.

It is essential to look for the label "Made from recycled content" when looking for new products. This means that the product is made from recycled materials from products that have already fulfilled their purpose. This makes them more eco friendly than brand-new items composed of virgin materials. These materials are also cheaper than the original ones.

You can reuse your old computer, tablet, or phone by taking it to a recycling center. They'll reuse the material to create new products and electronics. Some of these companies will offer you cash for the return of your old items.

If you want recycling for your coworkers to be easier, standardize the colors of the bins and signs at your workplace. This will eliminate confusion and boost participation. You should also designate the space in your office to recycle, such as a central bin or a box located in the breakroom.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens give you a second chance at rolling the dice for higher stats or cooler powers. They can be found in the mystery box, or as rare drops from skulled monsters or bosses. Each token removes one attribute point from damage, and randomly rolls it into an attribute that is new. You can also use the token to roll the extras on an item, such as regeneration or speed.

The bonuses on an item increase with each level, however the amount they boost differs. The value of an additional is calculated as a percent of the total stats of the item. Rerolling a token can alter this value. The item level upgrade's recycling value also grows as it gets upgraded. The value of the item upgrader's primary stats increases by 3 every time it is upgraded, however the value of the extras will vary.

Click the dice icon beside the item in your Inventory to reroll it. You can also hit the button on a different lobby of another player, and select "Reroll". After rerolling an item, it will be removed from your inventory.

You can purchase rerolls and other in-game items from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. By redeeming active codes, you will allow you to earn free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used for a variety of items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.

Rerolls can be helpful early in the game when you are attempting to build up your inventory. They are not the best method to boost your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on gaining more skill points. You can also earn bonus points through the event levels.

You can also reroll the race of your character with a race-reroll token that can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token can be redeemed through specific pack purchases or the Token Shop. It lets you change the race of your character only once. You can also earn it as a reward when you complete Meg’s cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.

Leveling

The process of leveling an item during an upgrade process boosts its stats and Power Level. However it can also increase the cost of upgrades and requires a certain amount of materials to complete the process. The kind of material required varies depending on the item. For example, weapons use a combination of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor utilizes Harmony Leapstones and Shards. Adding additional materials to the process can increase the chance of success, but this is not a guarantee.

The process of leveling utilizes a formula to determine how much damage or defense, magic attack or damage the upgraded item receives during the next upgrade. The formulas differ depending on the type of weapon used and rarity. There is also a maximum level for each kind of weapon.

The NPC will display an upgrade option once the item reaches its maximum level. This allows the player to upgrade the item upgrades to the next level by combining it with experience. To make the most of the benefits of this process, players must ensure that their equipment is fully leveled before attempting an upgrade. They will save time and money by not wasting resources or experience that could have been spent on other upgrades.

If the upgrade is currently in progress, the NPC will display a window with two lines. The first line displays the amount of Tech Points will be gained when upgrading the item while the second line displays an image of the item's new appearance. The preview will not be exact for items that have mods, but it can still give a rough idea of what you can expect.

The NPC will also show the cost of upgrading the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included when applicable. It will also show the cost of an Accelerator if you have one. Accelerators are available for purchase through the Exchange and increase the number of Tech Points gained by an upgrade by 50 percent. This bonus does not apply to the chance of a product's quality which is reset once the item reaches the mark level.

The Upgrade NPC provides a service for transfer of gear. This allows players to save the experience and upgrade progress from a piece of gear and transfer it to a new item that is in the same slot. This can be useful for players who wish to change their gear, but don't have enough money to buy a new set.
