World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template ending in % will suffer 3% attack damage every time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets to provide them with a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them; the item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the equipment to the upgrade (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of an armored weapon or. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-level version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even when they're not sure how much it can be improved upon a reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item level upgrade will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes in a radius around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.

In the endgame, you will often find that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with another Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost a particular set of stat nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. Based on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance an Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, but you should also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item upgrade is assigned a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items are able to be leveled until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced by a new item upgrader mod; go directly to www.ksye.cn, of the same type. The same armor will receive the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a problem, as it can cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with the level 1 base, and a completely different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, however it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can use up lots of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times to increase their value, allows the player to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants a buff if the player repeatedly enters or exits the water. The item can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely valuable in PvP as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate currency and items to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapons will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to revert to its original state, requiring the player to pay more for materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any gained bonuses, including crit chance and attack damage, and all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or speed of reload). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

If an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its base value. For instance an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each equipment upgrade will require different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs mentioned above.
