A bachelor's level (or comparable) and have finished university-level studies in human makeup, human physiology, and initial psychology. Residential trainees that are approved into the Master of Job-related Treatment Research studies pay tuition fees. The Master of Occupational Treatment Research studies is certified by the Occupational Treatment Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and accepted by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA).

The Australian Government has authorized this master's program for earnings support repayments to be made to qualified trainees.
