With a Master of Work Therapy (MOT) level from Nebraska Methodist University, you're empowered to gear up patients with vital devices that boost their quality of life, also when faced with barriers. This 2.5 year program focuses on the method of work treatment, emphasising using prior abilities and knowledge to improve the performance of OT technique and the development of sophisticated adult discovering abilities for recurring expert growth.

The program is made to build on your previous researches with the principles of occupational therapy method and see you establish the interdisciplinary expertise and expert skills needed to exercise as an OT. You'll undertake a variety of research-focused programs and complete advanced training Masters degree in Occupational therapy scientific thinking and health and wellness research, furthering your understanding of the role of evidence in work-related therapy practice.

The program code for the Master of Work Treatment Studies is 5147. Graduates of the program will be eligible to rest for the nationwide qualification evaluation for the physical therapist carried out by the National Board for Qualification in Occupational Treatment (NBCOT).

The Australian Federal government has authorized this master's program for income support payments to be made to eligible students. Throughout the program, you'll take on greater than 1000 hours of monitored scientific placements in UQ's Occupational Therapy Clinics located at the St Lucia university and in hospitals, schools and various other healthcare organisations.
