WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item upgrader mod by +3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current Item level upgrade (easybookmark.win) level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which will show a preview of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current item upgrading level. For instance, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded, and can be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the beginning, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are available only through a variety means. This is both a benefit and a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. Once an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item level, will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items are from another set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut too, but it is only available after certain milestones are reached.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item upgrading level upgrades. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only available for gear of a certain rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, based on the type or gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader for the item, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it will bring some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to get their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they are only used for one purpose. For instance it's a good idea to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The account-wide discount will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
