The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be set up into a triple-travel system by adding a bench or infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in all and is the top-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline, and there is a footwell adjuster to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, but we would have liked an easier latch. It's easy to access but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are simple to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and a significant improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that some of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats which makes it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a new baby coming soon. It can fit most infant car seats from major brands by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families with an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional infant car seat in this instance.
