The story uses Port Skellington, the Pumpkin Master of Halloween City, who becomes tired of the annual routine of Halloween. In his pursuit of anything new, Port stumbles upon Christmas City and becomes enchanted by the holiday's joy and cheer. He chooses to take over Christmas Formula Sign, but his well-meaning attempts result in distress and turmoil one of the human world.
