Authorities did not say if the shooting was targeted at specific people but did say that it was gang-related and connected to other drive-by shootings.

Kind's cousin, Adrienne, told WMBF: 'We need justice. We need justice, and we need it because we need our kids to be safe in the community. We shouldn't have to walk around having to watch our backs.'

Mindy Kind, Audrionna Kind's mother, was inside the home resting when the gunfire broke out. She said that she had a dream that her daughter had been shot

Kind's cousin referred to her as a 'giver to all'

Audrionna Kind's mother, Mindy Kind, told WACH that she was resting inside of the home while the party took place on the lawn.

She said that while she was resting, she had a dream that her daughter got shot.

After waking Mindy Kind said that she went outside: 'As soon as I got outside, I started hearing gunshots.

'From the porch fence, I could see a little opening in my porch. Then I could see, I don't know what color the vehicle was but what I know is that fire was coming from it.'

She added: 'I saw her laying on the ground. I could not go over there. I could not force myself to go over there where she was laying on that ground.'

According to the crowdfunding page, the money raised will be put toward a celebration of life for Kind

Mindy Kind also said that her 12-year-old grandson was shot in the leg with the bullet entering and exiting his thigh.

On her Facebook page, Audrionna Kind said that she was originally from Summerton and graduated from Scott Branch High in the town in 2007.

On a GoFundMe page that was set up for Audrionna's family, her cousin Alonso Felder wrote: 'I'm going to miss everything about her, everything.'

Felder wrote that her cousin 'enjoyed partying, having fun and spending time with family and friends.' He said Audrionna was 'a giver to all.'

He added: 'It didn't matter what anyone had to say about her she walked around with her head high. She put a lot of people before herself and made sure they were good sometimes before she made sure she was good. She was gonna figure out a way to make it happen.'

The page named her five children as sons, Kazon, King, Kanye and Kyrie as well as daughter Honesti. Her eldest child was 12 while her youngest was three months old.

Some of her children are students in Clarendon County District Four. The school's superintendent told WLTX: 'We just had such a wonderful graduation ceremony of our two high schools.'

Bain added: 'I'm just so sad for the family - and for our school family - to end the year on something like this. I just pray that we can get back to some civility.'

According to the crowdfunding page, the money raised will be put toward a celebration of life for Audrionna.

In total, 60 to 70 rounds were fired during the attack, although sheriff's deputies are investigating the possibility that some at the party returned fire on the two cars.

At the time of writing, no arrests have been made in the shooting.

Clarendon County Sheriff Tim Baxley said in a statement: 'These acts of violence cannot continue. Innocent children and adults are suffering the consequences of these acts.'

The sheriff added: 'Senseless acts won't be tolerated. There's absolutely no reasoning whatsoever for things like this to be happening. This was a school graduation party and you've got all these innocent children that were there that were hit by gunfire.'
